Children of Fallen Heroes Retreat and Education Center Announces Acquisition of Property for New Education and Retreat Center
Moore County, NC - Children of Fallen Heroes Retreat and Education Center (CFH) is pleased to announce that we have entered into a contract to purchase 82 acres of land to build our new facility. The new center will provide support and resources to children who have lost a parent in the line of duty.
The new center, located in Vass, NC, will be the first of its kind in the region and will offer a range of programs and services to help children and families cope with the challenges of losing a loved one in service to their country or community.
At the Children of Fallen Heroes Retreat and Education Center, children will have access to individual and group counseling services, recreational activities, and educational resources designed to promote healing and foster a sense of community.
"We are excited to expand our services and create a new facility that will allow us to serve even more families who have experienced such a devastating loss," said Kenneth Wasley, Founder and President of Children of Fallen Heroes Retreat and Education Center. "This new center will provide a place where children can come together to share their experiences and find comfort in knowing they are not alone."
The new center will also offer resources to help families navigate the challenges of grief and loss, including support groups, financial assistance, and referrals to other community resources.
"We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, and we are committed to providing the resources and support they need to do so," said Kenneth Wasley. "We are excited to move forward with the purchase of this property and begin building a new home for the Children of Fallen Heroes Retreat and Education Center."
Losing a parent is never easy, but it is especially difficult for children who are still trying to navigate their way in the world. Our center is a place where they can come together to share their experiences and find comfort in knowing they are not alone.
I started this organization because I wanted to create a place where children in similar situations could find the support they need to thrive. We are committed to providing the resources and support children need to thrive in the face of adversity. We are honored to open our doors and begin serving the families of our fallen heroes.
