Healing Hearts & Flying with Angels: Honoring Detective Ryan So and Sgt. First Class Dominic Perry

Hey everyone!

I just got back from an incredible trip to Phoenix, AZ, where we had the privilege of honoring two amazing heroes: Detective Ryan So of the Scottsdale PD and Sgt. First Class Dominic Perry of the US Army Golden Knights Parachute Team. This trip was packed with unforgettable moments and a whole lot of heart.

A Day to Remember

We spent the day with Ryan So's three wonderful daughters, along with several other families, taking them into the wind tunnel for an experience they'll never forget. Seeing those girls laugh and soar through the air was beyond special. It was a simple day, but the joy it brought to these kids was priceless.

Honoring Detective Ryan So

Detective Ryan So was a dedicated officer of the Scottsdale Police Department and a proud U.S. Navy veteran. He served his community with courage and commitment until his untimely passing in the line of duty. Ryan's legacy lives on through his three amazing daughters, who showed incredible strength and resilience during our time together.

A Community Coming Together

A big shout out to the Scottsdale PD for their incredible support. We couldn't have done this without you, and we're excited to continue working together to uplift children through our STEM+arts programs. Your dedication to your community is truly inspiring.

Honoring Sgt. First Class Dominic Perry

This trip wasn't just about honoring Ryan So. We also paid tribute to Sgt. First Class Dominic Perry, a true hero who tragically passed away. Dom was one of the tandem jumpers for SSG Jim Rice's granddaughter, Kriston, a local hero herself working with top surgeons in Phoenix. Dom and Kriston made an unforgettable jump at the 50th commemoration of my father's plane crash in 1973 in Silk Hope, NC. Their bond and bravery remind us of the incredible sacrifices made by our heroes.

Supporting the So Family

The proceeds from the Adam Plummer Legacy Scholarship went directly to supporting the So family. Adam Plummer, another amazing individual we lost too soon, had a passion for helping kids and honoring heroes. We're proud to continue his legacy by helping Ryan So's daughters and others in need.

Join Us in Making a Difference

We're reaching out to you, our wonderful community, to help us continue this mission. Your support can make a huge difference in the lives of these children and their families. Whether it's through donations, spreading the word, or simply sending positive vibes, every bit helps.

Let's keep the spirit of our heroes alive by coming together and making a positive impact.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us.

Humbly and Respectfully,

Ken Wasley, President and Founder
