Gary Sinise has been honored with the Patriot Award

Actor Gary Sinise has reportedly been honored with the Patriots Award, the Congressional Medal of Honor Society’s (CMHS) highest civilian honor, for his charitable efforts supporting military service members and veterans over the years.

Sinise, who is best known for his iconic performance as Lieutenant Dan in “Forrest Gump,”

We had the honor to present Old Glory for the Gary Sinise Jumping for Heroes at Tryon International Equestrian Center, Mills Springs NC. TIEC was where we first formed Children of Fallen Heroes in 2015.

We presented Gary Sinise with our CFH litho featuring the Gary Sinise Foundation canopy flown by AVG, with our Children of Fallen Heroes flag.

The bottom left photo is Kenneth Wasley, Founder of CFH and hometown of Southern Pines hero US Army MSG John Masson with Gary Sinise at the Cotton Fire Department in Hope Mills, NC.

The camouflage square is very special because it is a piece of fabric from a canopy that was last jumped 75 years ago during D Day.

Thank you, Gary, for being an inspiration! We love that you are inspiring communities to go out and make a difference for our First Responders and Military families.
