History

The story of Children of Fallen Heroes begins with a tragedy that had a profound impact on the life of its founder, Kenneth Wasley. In 1973, Kenneth's father SPF5, Michael Wasley, and his fellow Golden Knights were killed in a plane crash while on their way to an airshow. The loss of his father left Kenneth feeling empty and adrift, struggling to find ways to cope with the loss.

In the years that followed, Kenneth found solace and support in the camaraderie of his father's former teammates, the Golden Knights. Additionally, his stepfather, a Sergeant Major and a Vietnam veteran who was also a Golden Knight stepped in to help fill the void in Kenneth's life and provide support to his family.

The love and care that Kenneth received from his stepfather inspired him to dedicate his life to helping others who serve and sacrifice for their communities, including First Responders and military personnel. In honor of his father's memory and the sacrifices made by other fallen heroes, Kenneth founded Children of Fallen Heroes, an organization that provides support to the children of fallen heroes and their families.

It's worth noting that Kenneth's mother was also a giver in the community, volunteering her time to help cancer patients and serve her community. Her selfless actions and dedication to helping others undoubtedly had a profound impact on Kenneth and helped instill in him a spirit of giving and a desire to help others.

Through Children of Fallen Heroes, Kenneth is continuing to honor the legacies of those who have given so much. The organization provides resources and support to help families cope with the loss of a loved one and to ensure that their legacies are honored and remembered. It's clear that the sacrifices made by Kenneth's father and other fallen heroes, as well as the selfless actions of his mother, have had a profound impact on his life and inspired him to give back to those who have given so much.

In memory of Dylan Wasley

Dylan was a young man with a passion for cooking that began at an early age, thanks to the influence of his grandmother. His grandmother had culinary skills that rivaled those of a five-star chef, including an incredible ability for baking.

Despite not attending culinary school, Dylan honed his skills over the years and worked his way up from waiting tables to working in the kitchen. His talent and dedication to his craft were evident, and eventually, he earned a chef jacket at a prestigious five-star French restaurant.

Sadly, Dylan's promising future was cut short when he was killed in a tragic car crash that was caused by a drunk driver. His family and friends were devastated by the sudden loss of such a bright and talented young man. But even in death, Dylan's memory lives on, as he made a difference in the lives of so many people.

Dylan's love for cooking and the culinary arts will forever be remembered by those who knew him. The joy he found in creating delicious meals for others is a testament to his passion and talent. Despite the pain of his loss and living with grief daily, his family takes comfort in knowing that Dylan made a positive impact on the world and brought joy to so many people. His memory will continue to inspire and comfort those who knew and loved him.

I love you, my boy, see you and dad in heaven when my time is done here on earth.
