Join us on September 16, 2023, for a day of remembrance, reflection, and action as we honor the heroes and victims of 9/11. The City of Graham, Park, and Recreation is proud to partner with the Children of Fallen Heroes (CFH) nonprofit organization to host the 3rd Annual 9/11 Commemorative 5K Run/Walk.
This event is more than just a run or walk. It's an opportunity to come together as a community to show support for our fallen heroes and their families. It's a chance to honor the sacrifices made on 9/11 and the days that followed. And it's a reminder that we must never forget the events of that day and the impact they had on our nation.
The 9/11 Commemorative 5K Run/Walk is open to everyone, regardless of age or fitness level. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just starting out, you can participate in this event. You can run or walk at your own pace, and there will be plenty of volunteers and support along the way to help you reach the finish line.
But more importantly, this event is an opportunity to support the Children of Fallen Heroes nonprofit organization. This organization provides support and resources to the families of fallen heroes, including those who lost their lives on 9/11. By participating in this event, you're helping to ensure that these families receive the support they need during their time of grief.
So mark your calendar for September 16, 2023, and join us for the 3rd Annual 9/11 Commemorative 5K Run/Walk. Let's come together as a community to honor our fallen heroes and show our support for their families.
