Do you have an idea for an event that could help
the Children of Fallen Heroes Retreat and Education Programs?
We want to hear about it. You could start your own event or name the CFH the recipient of an existing event. There are lots of ways to get involved including online.
CFH depends on the fundraising efforts of our dedicated supporters. You can choose to participate in an existing campaign or create a new campaign that supports spouses and dependent children of Fire, Police, First Responders and Military that may be seriously wounded, ill, injured, or have made the ultimate sacrifice.

Funding Procedures and Policy
The funds raised will remain on account with the Children of Fallen Heroes in a restricted fund status.**
A summary of the funds raised will be sent to the families as needed.
For families that have lost a loved one, the department (Chaplain, Senior Enlisted Advisor, or Commander) may work with the Children of Fallen Heroes to establish the fundraising program. The department or member of the family will work with the CFH to determine when the fundraising will end and the funds on account disbursed.
Children of Fallen Heroes currently has an overhead rate of 7%. and that means when we take in a dollar, .93 cents goes to programs and not to running the nonprofit.
Children of Fallen Heroes is an approved IRS and GuideStar 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides retreat and education programs. All contributions are tax-deductible. CFH considers applicants on an equal opportunity basis without regard to an applicant's race, color, creed, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability or any other status protected by federal, state or local law. CFH actively seeks to serve diverse students through recruiting, affiliations, dedicated scholarships and community programs.
